Martin Luther King III recognized the City of Dallas, H.E.L.P., and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center for their commitment to honoring Dr. King’s legacy through service, unity, and opportunity.

H.E.L.P.’s leadership and contributions to the Official Martin Luther King Jr. Parade of the City of Dallas have been recognized by Dallas city leadership. This recognition reflects the organization’s commitment to service, unity, and community engagement.
ABOUT THE PARADE
“From Dream to Action — 45 Years Walking the Path of Justice”
For 45 years, the Dallas MLK Parade has brought the community together to honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The 2027 celebration continues this treasured tradition through the City of Dallas and the dedicated involvement of H.E.L.P. Dallas, welcoming schools, businesses, faith groups, civic organizations, community leaders, and families from across the city.
Together, we celebrate the progress inspired by Dr. King’s dream while turning that dream into action through justice, unity, service, and meaningful change. Join us on January 18, 2027, as we honor the past, inspire future generations, and continue walking the path of justice together.

Entry Fees
- Parade Entry Fee: $150 = 50 participants (includes the cost of 1 vehicle; additional vehicles are $15 each (Limit 5)
- Car Clubs: $200 for the first 5 cars; $15 each additional car (Limit 20) No walkers
- Motorcycle Clubs:$200 for the first 10 cycles; $15 each additional (Limit 3) No walkers
- Trail Ride Groups w/horse: $150=50 participants (includes the cost of 1 horse; additional horses are $15 each (Limit 3) **Coggins and Health Certificates must be submitted with applications for ALL horses to be authorized by the Planning Committee to approve participation.**

Payment can be made online or by money order or cashier’s checks made payable to “Hope Encourage Love Protect (H.E.L.P.)”
- Registration is not complete until the entry fee has been paid.
- At least 1 representative from each organization MUST attend a mandatory logistics meeting before the parade.
- Refunds: There are no refunds for this event. We encourage every group to carefully plan and agree before paying to participate. Each participant fee assists in the subsidy of the parade. However, we are mindful of emergency circumstances that may grant an exception. If a participant has paid and cannot attend for another reason we can credit/comp the organizations participation for the next year. If the parade is postponed/canceled by an Act of God plans for the parade will be communicated as soon as possible. Thank you for your support!

A representative from your organization MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE- failure to attend forfeits your participation in the parade.
